Marqera is a globally focused intellectual property trading company offering a range of products and services tailored for their customer intellectual property needs including the facilitation of transactions for both patents and brands, advisory and strategy services, and providing transaction capital and other financing options for parties seeking IP based capital.
The brief: the brand design had to reflect well established and reliable company, yet young and dynamic.
Marqera wanted a symbolic logo based on the letter Q (stands for 'Quality').
Our approach: we started to explorer the shape of the letter Q. We searched for basic geometric shapes, and ended up with a sliced oval. The 4 quarters symbolized a whole complete service made of few aspects and expertise.
The flipped quarter turns the oval to Q and points to the name of the company.
In all the items we used monochromatic conservative blue colour, keeping the design clear with lot's of white space.
